Kariba and Hwange Packages

Kariba and Hwange packages includes Mana Pools. Mana Pools National is one of four UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Zimbabwe. Covering an area of 848 sq meters, Mana Pools extend from the Zambezi River to the escarpment. It’s a timeless wilderness, a jewel of Zimbabwe’s National Park and there is much to see on Hwange and Kariba Packages.

The Zambezi River, shared between the Zambezi National Park in Zambia and the Mana Pools, flows eastwards. But it has left behind the remains of the old river channels forming ponds and pools. In turn this unique landscape attracts much wildlife for the size of the Park. Thousands of zebra, kudus, eland, impala, and other species of antelopes. The more the grazers the more the carnivores and the scavengers. Lions, leopards, hyenas and painted dogs are found here.

Along the river bank there is greatest varieties of bird life in the world. More than 380 species of birds including the Goliath herons, Egyptian and Spurwing geese, cormorants and stocks, the colorful bee-eaters etc.

Kariba and Hwange Packages

Kariba has a different scene but very attractive. The dam and the lake draws wildlife all around the town and surrounding areas. You can go on a game drive along the coast, or just view game from a houseboat. Fishing in the lake/dam is a favorite sport as well as bird watching. Kariba is home to the ferocious Tiger fish and the bream. Hippos and crocodiles become so common sight everyday. It is the courage of the locals here that might surprise many how they manage to navigate the dangerous but calm waters of Kariba.

Back to Livingstone and Victoria Falls will take everyone’s breath away. Beyond the waterfalls as mighty and big as it is there is existence of a vibrate community from either side. The Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park has rhinos and antelopes and so are huge herds of elephants just like across the river. Livingstone Island has a unique pool just meters from the depression of the falls that will plunge for 100 meters. The Devils Pool is one of its kind, a true adventure that is highly adrenaline but completely safe.
