Birding

Birding is very exciting activity and way to relax. Listening to birds chants and taking photographs of birds is a hobby many people have fallen in love with. In Southern Africa there are more than 1000 species of birds both residence and migratory birds. The walk in the bush in quiet environments makes it possible to captivate and learn much about birds.

In Victoria Falls, bird watching activity can be done in the mornings along the Zambezi River. In Kruger national park and Hwange national park birding is also popular and trips can be arranged with Guides from the Lodges.

Birding in Southern Africa is popular both on safari and just on country sides with less noise to scare them away. In most national parks at campsites, waterholes and along rivers birds are always available.
