Kilimanjaro is 5 895 metres above sea level and almost 4 900 m above its plateau base. Its best to include this hiking with Safari experience in Tanzania and Kenya. Hiking in mount Kilimanjaro can take 4 to 5 days.

Other hiking Tours include the Fish River canyon. The Fish River canyon is Africa's biggest canyon and stretches for about 160 km. This hiking trail is 80 km and can take again 4 to 5 days. Fish River canyon is part of the vast Namib Desert where temperatures can sore up to 45 degrees Celcius. Hiking in the canyon takes place only in Winter months from March to September.
